Calamagrostis koelerioides
''Calamagrostis koelerioides'', fire reedgrass, is a bunch grass species in the Poaceae family.
It is native to the Pacific Northwest region of the United States, with a distribution extending east to Wyoming and south to California, where it can be found in many habitat types.
This perennial bunch grass forms tufts up to about tall. The inflorescence is a dense array of spikelets with the individual branches bunched parallel along the stem. Each rough spikelet is about 0.5 centimeters long and has a stiff, bent or twisted awn.
